PANEL CONSTRUCTION
Panels shall consist of interior and exterior metal skins precisely formed with steel dies and roll-form equipment and thoroughly checked with gauges for accuracy. The metal skins shall be placed into heated molds and liquid urethane injected between them. Urethane shall be foamed-in-place and when completely heat-cured, shall bind tenaciously to the metal skins to form an insulated panel. To insure tight joints, panel edges have foamed-in-place tongues and
grooves with a flexible vinyl gasket attached on the interior and exterior of all tongue edges. Gaskets shall be resistant to damage from oil, fats, water and detergents and must be NSF-approved.


INSULATION
Foamed-in-place urethane insulation, (poured not frothed). Foam core of panels shall be Underwriters Laboratories-listed as having flame spread of 25 or lower and smoke generation
of 450 or lower when tested in accordance with ASTME-84-76. Panels shall be approved by Factory Mutual as a Class 1 building type. They shall be foamed using HCFC expanding agents and shall meet all current international standards.

METAL FINISH

PANEL FASTENERS
Walk-in panels shall be assembled with cam-action fastening devices which are anchored in the rigid polystyrene insulation. Cams activated by a hex wrench provided by the manufacturer. Cam access ports located on the interior allow assembly of the walk-in from the inside for close placement of panels to existing obstructions. The access ports shall be covered by press-fit plug buttons.


INSULATED FLOOR
Floor panel construction shall be similar to that described in above Panel Construction section, but with a heavier gauge aluminum interior skin. Insulated floor panels are designed to withstand uniformly distributed stationary floor loads up to
600 lbs. psf. Standard floor construction is NSF Approved. Contact factory for heavier load requirements and when optional metal finishes are required.

PANEL FASTENERS
Panel fasteners to be cam action male and female profile. Panels shall be fastened to adjacent panel by inserting hex wrench in small-predrilled access ports on the male side. Turn

DOOR PANEL ASSEMBLY
Door panel assembly is Underwriters Laboratories listed. Construction and metal finish to be of same as other panels. Standard flush mounted pre-hung entrance door includes
the following features: Self-closing hinges, door latch with key lock, inside safety release, hydraulic door closure, magnetic gasket, built-in thermometer and door heater installed in jamb. The bottom edge of walk-in door shall have an adjustable and replaceable wiper gasket. The door panel shall also include a vapor-proof interior lamp; junction box for 120v/60/1 phase, a.c. service (15 amp maximum) and a flush mounted 2” dial thermometer.

For freezer application, pressure relief port(s) will be provided. A variety of door options are available for special circumstances. Contact factory for details.

ACCESSORIES

Examples: Larger hinged or sliding doors, reach-in service doors, glass display doors, heavier duty floors, exterior and interior ramps, additional lighting, interior shelving, vinyl strip curtains, temperature alarm packages, heavy duty locking devices and surface protection with diamond-tread metal.

REFRIGERATION SYSTEMS

WARRANTY
Seller expressly warrants to the original purchaser/user, that the structural panels are free from defect in material and workmanship for a period of ten (10) years under normal use
and service. Seller’s obligation shall be limited to replacing or repairing at its option, FOB seller’s plant. Refrigeration systems, door panel assembly including hardware and electrical are subject to normal one-year warranty. A four (4) year extended compressor motor warranty is also included. Labor charges for replacement or repair of defective parts are not covered.
